FFFFFFFFF INSOMNIA.

(Seriously, I've never ever never had a problem with this, and now for the last two or three weeks it is like SLEEP WILL NEVER COME ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH HOW IS IT ALMOST 5AM AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. And before you advise me that, well, getting off the internet is a great first step towards going to sleep -- dudes, I only turned to the internet as a last resort after pointlessly lying in bed for almost three hours, and yet now it has failed me in my hour of need anyway. FML.)

Wow, so sorry to hear that. :( Have you tried melatonin?

No, I haven't... I'm kind of scared of the pharmacy here! (Who am I kidding, I am scared of the pharmacy in USA.) I don't know how to ask for anything! B'awwwww. Maybe I will attempt to figure it out.

Argh, that sucks so much! And after a while you're so edgy and stressed about sleeping that there's no way you can sleep...

What really helped me was to go to bed earlier. Even if I wasn't super tired, it made me feel less anxious that I wouldn't fall asleep if I had more time to fall asleep in, if that makes sense?!

Something else that might help is to have a hot cup of something non-caffeinated. Chamomile tea is good, but whatever works for you. That can help wind you down too, get your body relaxed and ready for sleep.

Hope you find a solution soon. :)

No, that totally makes sense! And I think that's part of my problem, too... I don't usually get home from work until like ~10:30, and then I usually have more work to finish up at home plus making dinner plus attempting to clean plus blah blah blah so the earliest I can head to bed is maybe like midnight, but then if I go to bed later and later I keep waking up later and later and, I don't know, I think maybe it is just a tragic lack of sunlight that is messing with my internal clock? Is that a thing? I don't know, this is my first time trying to live through a proper winter on top of a semi-nocturnal lifestyle. Urrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh.
