I think for me, the most embarrassing thing about my BWoC love is that, yes, I did watch it as a child, but it didn't leave that big of an impression on me -- it was until I rediscovered it in college that I fully appreciated what an intricately crafted piece of cultural satire it truly was. WHY IS IT THAT BRAINLESS KIDS SHOWS RESONATE WITH ME MORE AS AN ADULT. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY BRAIN.
Anyway, I spared my students... how kind of me! And I didn't end up showing any videos because the internet wasn't working properly in my classroom, booooo, so instead we just listened to the Ghostbusters theme song (of course!) and ate candy.
