Myself
I'm Bethany, a 23-year-old recent graduate with a supremely impractical degree in babbling at length about fictional entities. Perhaps not coincidentally, this also seems to typify about 95% of my journal content... I am living in Korea right now as an English teacher, so I also post a bit about my travels.
My Journal
I try to keep my journal as open as possible, but I have also become paranoid in my old age and have a tendency to lock more entries these days. I do understand the impulse to lurk/randomly browse through journals, and as such leave most of my fandom entries public. I'd like to be able to keep track of who's reading posts concerning my personal life, though, so those are almost always friends-only. My friending policy is fairly straightforward and stress-free -- just ask! If I recognize you from a community or a mutual friend, or see that we have some common interests, or think you seem like a hunky dory person in general, I'm more than happy to be friends.
