Can you protect me from yourself?
Mar. 15th, 2002 05:44 pmSomebody save me from my life. Please.
I had one hell of a bad day today. Acutally, I have been having a pretty bad last couple of weeks. It all started one annoyingly raining but hot day. I was trying to catch up to Rita and I slipped and fell on one of the wet, broken grates. How horribly embarrassing. The rest of the day was pretty sucky. Then Monday we were assigned a project in Mrs. Miller's class that had to do with WWII. We had some topics to choose from, and from the topics we chose she would put us in groups. I picked first Japanese internment camps, then Hitler, then Allied powers, and last Stalin. Of course, the topic I get is Stalin. My last choice. It wouldn't have turned out to be all that bad, except Jeff was my partner. Annoying, obnoxious, perveted Jeff who asked me out at least five times last year and who hits on my friends continually. Yesterday I was going to switch groups with Yaou because he had Judaism with Rita and he didn't want it. Then he decided that he didn't want to work with Jeff, so I switched groups with Dan and now I have Japanese internment camps with Lela, which suits me nicely. However, Yaou is mad at *me* of all people because he still has Judaism. Even though I was the one who offered to switch with him. Today we went to the library to do research. There was a total of one paragraph that I found in 80 minutes dealing with internment camps. Cory and Joseph were using the internet to look up stuff, but instead of searching for Nazism (their topic), they searched for stuff that *I* had done online. Somehow a guestbook entry for an NSYNC site popped up. If you know me, you know that I do not like NSYNC. Not enough to look up a website and post on the guestbook. But of course they had to show it to the entire class.
I am having some major problems with my friends. Yaou is still whining about Judaism. Cory and Joseph are being dorks in general. Brett and Rudy...I don't know, it's like they suddenly don't want to talk to me any more. Jared talks to me, but then again he talks to everybody. Stephanie Stone is always running off with Megan to talk about Jared. Rita is incredibly nice, but we never seem to have anything to talk about. Lisa and Veronica don't talk much. That leaves Ashley, Becca, and Stephanie Mickler as the people that I like (and the people that like me, too) that I still talk to. Well, I talk to Lela in Mrs. Miller's class, too. But you get the idea. I have classes with about 100 different people, and I talk to four of them. I feel like such an outcast sometimes.
