Lack of computer time
Apr. 19th, 2002 07:36 pmI hate it when I only go online during the weekends. It is very frustrating, because then I forget everything that I meant to do in between.
Monday- Nothing much. Leonardo da Vinci's birthday. Ooh, and I had to give a presentation for Mrs. Miller (reading/language arts). Our project was on Japanese-American internment camps...we had a nice report and visual, but ye gads! it did not come through very well in the presentation; I'm afraid we were boring ::sigh:: Nobody was listening at all. Yes, well, that is what we get for trying to follow a group that had food (how is that fair?!).
Tuesday- We started watching The Karate Kid in journalism. How I loathe that movie...! Mr. Hahl said that we could bring in our own movies if we really wanted to watch them; that sounds like a *very* good idea.
Wednesday- Our swim meet is coming up this weekend, and it is the main thing that Jim is counting on to get money (because they're digging up the pool at the complex, a bunch of people have stopped swimming). He was getting annoyed because not everybody had signed up to swim or time, and he spent a good half hour jumping down people's throats about it. The prom for Lake Wales is on Saturday, so Ashley wasn't going to be able to time. She told Jim that, but he rambled on about "priorities" and told her to "blow of prom" because she had "duties to the team". What a load of crap. Of course, I am going to be timing anyways ::sigh::
Thursday- I had to turn in my history book ::sniffle:: It is hard to believe that this school year is almost over; only a bit more than four weeks left. Oh, and "Lover's Walk" was on. Another one of my favorite episodes (lots of Spike dearest). Spike so rocks.
And today...well, I didn't really do much today, either. I got to skip practice. And that about sums up my week.
