I spend five hours a day at school with only a fifteen minute break (but I think I've complained about that enough). Now, I thought summer school was bad enough with just the lecturing. But! Now we get to do dialogues in front of the class (public speaking--my ultimate fear), conjugate verbs (incredibly boring), and take at least one quiz and test. And, oh joy of joys, Matt found out who I was. So I spend the *incredibly* short break that we get from Spanish being harrassed by him and his friends.
Oh, and at my doctor's appointment yesterday, I found out that, even though I feel perfectly fine and my mouth is more or less back to normal, I have to go to an ENT doctor all the way in Tampa.
What did I ever do to deserve this?
On a happier note, Erin found out that Katie's friend's brother's band got a record deal. I've never actually heard them, but I know that he is really nice so that is always cool.
Also, yesterday I went by Barnes and Noble...I wanted to get The Silmarillion, but they didn't have the copy that I wanted, so instead I picked up Me Talk Pretty One Day. I haven't had a chance to get past the first story, but from what I've read it is *hilarious*. Many thanks to Hazel for the recommendation!
