(no subject)

I need to work on my government project. It's due in about a week an a half, but I haven't even started on it yet. It's a long, boring research project... We got to pick our own topics, so I wanted to do mine on the Great Depression, but then Mrs. Patton (Gov't/Economics teacher) told me that it was too broad. So I picked a *new* topic, the California Gold Rush. Unfortunatly, that seems to hold no economic merit (*whatever*), so instead of letting me pick a new project she just assigned me one. Now I'm doing a project on "the changing role of women in government and how they have shaped society." And, of course, this topic has to cover *ALL* of American history.

Suddenly, I'm starting to really appreciate middle school...
