"Pirates of the Caribbean" was great! Elizabeth and Will were something of flat characters, but Jack was awesome. I also liked Norrington quite a bit, and I ended up feeling sorry for him at the end of the movie. The theatre was incredibly crowded and I ended up sitting about two rows up from the very front, which is actually a fun way to view a film but after two hours my eyes were smarting. I'll probably talk my mom into going with me again at some point in the near future.

"The Lost Boys" was on VH1 today. Gads, I love that movie so much. Unfortunately, they edit a lot of it out for TV, so my favourite parts are cut ("Nanook! What'd you do to my dog, you asshole?" "My own brother, a god damn, shit sucking vampire!"). Actually, it's pretty silly that I'm complaining about that because I kind of own the movie anyway ::shrugs:: It's nice that I can watch it now and still enjoy it. It really hasn't lost anything over the past sixteen years.
