(no subject)

History is evil. Or, well, at least really boring. I do actually like history a lot, but the way we do it is starting to get annoying. For example, right now we're studying Alexander the Great. I LOVE Alexander the Great, and yet I find myself on the verge of falling asleep every afternoon in there. We had to watch some craptastic video today, and now I have to write an essay discussing whether, given the choice, I would prefer to live a long but insignificant life or a short but glory-filled one. Because that sure has a lot to do with history! Meh. I'm choosing the die-young-and-stay-pretty option, but I'm going to have a hard time backing it up with anything besides, "Being famous is fun!" Ooh, but we have a new administrator who looks like Robert Patrick, fun.

EDIT: Is it really necessary for me to say how much I hate my parents? ::hisses:: Every time I think, "Wow, there is no way they could be worse!" they just have to be creative and come up with a new way to suck.
