Nov. 25th, 2003 09:26 amI went to PotC again last night. Fun, fun. But I went all alone... I did have some people with me, but at the last minute they were like, "Oh, let's go see the other movie that is playing!" Being the Norrington fangirl that I am, I was disinclined to acquiesce to their request and sat throught the movie by myself. I suppose it was nice, though, because then I wasn't embarrassed to cry when Barbossa died ::sniffles:: Or when Norrington lets Elizabeth go with Will. Sheesh. So many people in that movie are in dire need of a good glomping.
And Erin! I'm sorry for not calling you about the movie, but I wasn't entirely sure that I was going. I tried to ask my dad about it... I was like, "Are we going to the movies tonight?" and all he says is, "We might all be dead by tonight." What a helpful response. My dad is severely pissing me off right now. Even though I have so far complied with all of his demands, he still hasn't given me back all of my stuff. I have managed to recover "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" and "Gone With The Wind," but he still has "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" season two, not to mention many of my other possessions not of the DVD variety. And! Okay, this is one of the worst injustices in history. My dad waited until now to try to make reservations for next month, and, not surprisingly, he has been unable to do so. Believe it or not, people have been expecting this FOR THE LAST HUNDRED YEARS. The only place that is open is a camping site, and if I have to camp out in this middle of nowhere during the winter to see a bunch of fat old men do a reenactment of the first flight instead of sit in a nice squishy movie theatre enjoying the final installment of LotR, I am going to cry.
