8:35 - watched Spider-Man 2
10:45 - left theatre entertained but incredibly exhausted
11:10 - got home and went to sleep

So, yes, even though we made an effort to get there early, it was already sold out. Curse people who buy their tickets online! I guess waiting for the 8:30 wasn't too bad, although by the time it was done I was rather tired ::yawn::

I did like the movie a lot. It had Joxer, for crying out loud! I was talking to my sister about it and she's like, "Well, duh, his brother's the director. Of course he's going to be in it!" And here I am thinking, "Let's see... Sam Raimi and Ted Raimi... Same last name... Plus they look alike... ::nervous giggle:: Heh, of course I knew they were brothers." So at least I learned something new last night (namely, that I am dumb and don't make simple connections very easily). Now I am going to have to watch "Spider-Man" again because I never noticed him in it...

We didn't really have any good trailers, but we sure as heck had one hilarious one. Bonnie and I were watching the "Blade: Trinity" trailer and all of a sudden she asks, "Oh my gosh, is that Berg?" And sure enough, Ryan Reynold's name pops up at the end of the trailer. (I hope you are listening to this, [livejournal.com profile] katwm80!) I am not going to be able to watch that movie because every time he tries to do something serious I am going to have to picture him talking to his shoes or doing a William Shatner impression. We also had a trailer for "The Bourne Supremacy," but unfortunately there was no sign of Karl Urban.

My driving test is tomorrow and I still cannot park. I was counting on my dad to help me for the last two days, but he has been out doing stuff for my mom and my sister in Brandon and Tampa. Hm. Nickie and I went and practiced some yesterday, but we used her car and it is about a hundred times easier to park than my dad's car, which is the one I will be taking to the test. My dad didn't say when he'd be home, so I may or may not have a chance to practice this afternoon.

In a little more than twelve hours, I will be testing for my driver's license.

::nervesnervesnerves::

I realize I'm a lot more jittery than I should be. It's really hard not to be, though! I still have a hard time parking properly (although I think I will take my mom's TrailBlazer, which is a lot easier to park than my dad's truck) and I'm not even sure where the parking brake is (note to self: ask dad when he gets back from scuba class). I am incredibly uncomfortable driving with strangers in the car, and since I don't have any buddies over at the DMV I'm sure it's going to be awkward. If I don't pass, I don't think I'd be too disappointed or angry simply because I just don't like driving that much. However, I would be incredibly embarrassed because everybody goes on and on about how easy it is and most people I know passed it their first go.

Honestly, I just want to get it all over with nice and quick so I can be home in time to watch Xena.
