Aug. 12th, 2004 03:38 pmNo school tomorrow. Whee.
I think I am going to watch "The Princess Diaries 2" tomorrow. It's amazing how many PD fans there really are. Nobody is really vocal about it until somebody else mentions it, and then they're all, "Oh, you like it, too? That's great!" So I am going with both of my sisters, and maybe two or three girls from school.
I started reading "The Crucible" yesterday. It is okay. I've also been working on "The Black Tulip," which starts out with "AHH MY EYES!!" and then progresses to "Hm, this could be interesting..." and then to "This is the most suspenseful story about vegetation that I've ever read! What happens next?!" I have about fifty pages left so I'll either finish it tonight or tomorrow morning. After that the only book that I bought this summer and still haven't read will be "Scaramouche," so chances are I will start on that next. However, today in English our teacher started talking about "The Scarlet Letter," so I don't know if we're supposed to start on that now or if we're going to read it after we finished "The Crucible." Oh well, either way I will be starting on "Scaramouche."
And did I mention that I love hurricane days?
Hoo and ray.
