It's official: it is possible for me to be bored with homework and studying before I even begin to do either of those things. However, I have finals coming up this week and I should probably get around to studying at some point in the near future. I am also taking the SATs in two weeks, and I should be studying for that as well.

My mother is pushing me into looking at colleges, too. I know she is right to make me start early, but I really have no idea what I want to do with my life. Everything I look at is either too expensive or too boring or too something-else-that-turns-me-off-from-it. It is impossible for me to look at any sort of career and think, "That is what I want to do for the rest of my life." Consequently, I am nowhere near to picking a major. My mom has advised me to go to a large school where I will have a lot of options, but I would much rather go to a smaller college than a big one. So... I am back at square one. Sigh!

Am I the only person having problems with LiveJournal loading? In fact, I will be surprised if it manages to post this. Argh, how frustrating! The one day when I actually have a lot of time to spend on the computer is of course the one day when LJ chooses to be weird.

This does, I suppose, give me time to finish "This Side of Paradise." I had intended to have it last me the rest of the week, but an unexpected free period in photography got me a lot further through the book than I thought I would get. I only have about twenty pages left, so I decided to go ahead and finish it today. I'm not sure what to start on next, reading "Til We Have Faces" or rereading "Wuthering Heights." Also, our teacher has announced that we are reading "Invisible Man" next, but I'm not in a big hurry to start on that. I had rather hoped to drop by the library on Friday and check out "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom," but I don't want to do that if I'm in the middle of reading another book. Hmm...
