[livejournal.com profile] katwm80 had better be proud of me. I finally, finally watched "House" last night. Not only that, but I enjoyed it. I've already picked out House/Wilson as my OTP, although I decided that before watching my first episode, thanks to this post.

I finally finished reading Invisible Man, but I still haven't decided what type of project I want to do. I have to finish it next week, too, so I had better come up with something soon. I started rereading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the first time in a lo-o-ong while. I think it's been about three or four years since the last time I read it. I just wanted to make sure that I read it before the movie comes out (Eee! I can't wait!). But, seriously, whose bright idea was it to have Alan Rickman voice Marvin? I feel horrible because in every promo I am totally perving on him... Oh well... Marvin needs love too, I guess.

My sister and I bought "Labyrinth" when we were at the store on Monday, and I watched it this afternoon for the first time in many years. Let me just say that I remember why I used to love it so much. I don't quite understand my affinity for masquerades in musicals, but I watched the bubble ball sequence three times. From a design perspective, it is absolutely gorgeous. There isn't a single costume that I am not absolutely in love with. From an oh-my-God-I-love-David-Bowie-and-want-to-have-his-babies perspective... Oh my God I love David Bowie and want to have his babies! He is too wonderful for words.

Speaking of other things that are wonderful... Lost tonight! cut in case you haven't seen Hearts and Minds )

EDIT: Ah, this is why I love [livejournal.com profile] cap_it so very much. I am definitely making some icons from the ballroom scene.
