There are only five weeks left to term. This year has gone by surprisingly fast -- not that I am complaining. I am ready for summer break, but I really haven't decided what I am going to do with it.

I could participate in the Cambridge College Programme, which seems like it would be a lot of fun. However, it would cost about $6,000, which my parents most definitely do not have to spare. More importantly, it coincides with the release of HP6. As much as I would like to go, I think I would rather stay at home, wait patiently for the postman to arrive on July 16, read the book all in one day, and then have a post-reading party the next day to cry with everybody about whoever dies.

I could attend summer classes at PCC. I haven't taken a math since last year, and I would like to take calculus before going to college. I don't like the thought of dual enrolling, though, because it would mean driving around to LRHS, to PCC, and then back to LRHS. I don't think it would fit very well into my schedule during the school year. During the summer, though, I don't have much to do so it wouldn't be hard to find time to take a class. On the other hand, well, ew. Who wants to spend their summer taking calculus?

I could help out at Kids at College. Actually, I am pretty sure that I am going to do this one. According to Angelica, it is a good way to get a lot of service hours (I currently have about twenty-five, and I need at least fifty more before I graduate). It does involve hanging out with screaming children for several hours every day, but it is only for a few weeks, anyway. Plus, if Angelica does it again this summer, I will have somebody to talk to.

I could get a job. This is one that I really need to do, but I don't know if I will. I'm not opposed to the idea, really; it's just that I can't think of any place that I would like to work. I live about thirty seconds down the street from Publix, so that is an obvious choice. I would be really embarrassed if I ran into anybody I knew there, though, and since I always see people I know at the grocery store I don't think it's somewhere I would like to work. Since I spend so much time at the movie theatre, my mom has suggested that I get a job there (and they are hiring). Just because I like movies doesn't mean that I want to work at the theatre. Also, I would have the same problem of always running into people that I know. The only place I would like to work is Cypress Gardens, because I have always dreamed of being a belle there. I'm not every sure if they have belles any more, though. If they do, I haven't seen any the last few times I have gone. They also have a pirate show which hasn't opened yet and which will probably be incredibly stupid but which I would love to work in anyway. I'm pretty sure that they are only hiring people eighteen and over, however, so "it's all mootville for me."

I could mooch around the house for two and a half months. It is a rather attractive option, but I think my parents might have something to say about it. So. I'll think of something to do.

Unrelated, but... I know I just changed my layout to match my Doctor Zhivago icons, but I have been getting way too involved in the House fandom lately. So. Icon changes ahoy! I love Wilson and I want to have his babies. The end.
