Jul. 14th, 2005 04:26 pmOkay, this is getting ridiculous. After sitting at home waiting for my package all day long, still it is not here. Since it's pretty late in the afternoon I figured it probably isn't going to arrive today, so I decided to go online and check the package status. According to the package progress:
Jul 14, 2005 3:53 P.M.
THE RECEIVER WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO SIGN ON THE 2ND DELIVERY ATTEMPT. A 3RD DELIVERY ATTEMPT WILL BE MADE.
I have been home. All. Day. Long. The delivery attempt for yesterday said that it was made at 4:00, so today from 3:30 to 4:30 I actually sat at the window and watched to see if anybody drove past. Nobody came by my house at 3:53 and attempted to deliver anything. I am strongly tempted to write an angry e-mail asking why people who are supposed to be sending my stuff to me are in fact skirting around my house and then lying about not being able to reach me.
Now I am doubly frustrated because all of my icons are calm and soothing and none of them are suited to express my current feeling of "ARRR WHERE IS MY CRAP?!" It's just the little things that keep adding up...
