(no subject)

Am I the only one who watches the same movies or reads the same books multiple times, yet still wishes that the end could somehow change to suit my preferences? I have just been watching The Philadelphia Story again, but I always have to stop it after Mike and Tracy kiss because that scene is just too heart-achingly gorgeous for me to watch the rest of the movie and be disappointed. Of course, I'll probably finish it later because just maybe it will be different this time. Please?
