Somebody needs to introduce my mother to tact. She went and had our dog put to sleep this afternoon, but instead of telling anyone she just left the bill on the counter. What a fun discovery! Then again, I suppose I wouldn't really relish the task of having to tell anybody that poor Indy is dead... Aw... I miss my dumb dog! Apparently he had a huge amount of cancer all over the left side of his body and it's a wonder that nobody had noticed it before. Bleargh. I have been going through a really crappy time lately and this is just making me feel even worse. If my parents were out of the house I think this would be my cue to crash out in front of the TV watching LotR for a few hours, but instead I suppose I'm just going to have to go sit in my room and think depressing thoughts. Meh...

*hugs* That can NOT be a fun thing to find out, even if he was suffering. My first dog - Maxwell Moondog, actually - was put down without my knowledge when I was about 9. I was so angry and upset, because although I knew it would happen, nobody told me. *more hugs* I hope things look up soon.

Aw, thanks. I We had noticed some problems with our dog before this, so I wasn't *really* surprised, but even if you are expecting it... It's still pretty hard to deal with. I still have four other beautiful puppies that I am now determined to spend lots of time with because I can't help looking at them without going, "Don't die! Ever!"

I think my little dog Katie is going to be put down soon too.. She's had like 3 surgeries in the same spot to remove a growth, but it keeps coming back. And our first golden retriever was put down when I was like 6, cept my parents told me that "he died during surgery," only for me to find out 5 years later from our yard guy of all people that he was put down. Yeesh.
I hope you feel better soon.. I miss you!

dirty antelope is a non-ib thing. it was from my health class friend tiffany. and as for the skirt thing, plaid skirt. guys loved me for it, 'specially denny and david. but it seriously is the most adorable skirt i've ever seen in my whole life. oodles of people told me that it was incredibly cute (i.e. kel, maggie, ally, bartow people, etc. etc.)
