May. 5th, 2004 03:18 pmI'm going to be filming my screenplay in class tomorrow, and I really really don't want to. It's a pretty pointless script about a couple of high school kids and the obligatory Spring Fling. The only reason we are filming mine is because it had to be at least five minutes long and mine was the only one in the group that fit the requirement. Another group in our class already went and they included music in their film, and now everybody in my group wants to have music. I want to be whiny and flex my directorial muscles and say "NO!!" However, I recognize the fact that there are other people in my group who might want to do other things. But still. People have so far suggested Eminem, Good Charlotte, Fuel, and a bunch of other stuff that just does not fit the film.
Again, I am stressing way too much over dumb stuff. I know that it really shouldn't bother me that much, but I don't want to have pointless music floating around. I don't know, I'll probably let them play whatever they want anyway. I said that I would bring in some CDs if they wanted to use them, so maybe we can figure something out.
