I finally watched "Peter Pan" (the newer version) last night. I liked it a lot, but, boy... Am I the only one who cried through a good deal of that movie? I don't know if it was the actual film or just me being weird, but I found myself tearing up quite often. At any rate, it was definitely a touching film. Unlike the animated Disney version (ah, I hate that movie so much!), this one had actual emotion involved. And, wowza, talk about casting! Peter and Wendy definitely had the right chemistry, big kudos to whoever decided to put those two actors together. While I did not fall madly in love with Jeremy Sumpter, I did feel an overwhelming urge to give his character a big hug, and possibly a mug of hot chocolate.

Yeah, I've been in a kind of weird mood lately...

I think I have pretty much decided on having a Harry Potter party next week (woo, one week until PoA!). It will of course involve watching the first two films, playing Harry Potter UNO, etc. I was wondering if any of you guys had suggestions for some HP related food...? I think I still have some Every Flavour Beans left, but I was still trying to think of other things they eat in the books. I know Aunt Petunia serves ice cream one time, so it wouldn't be cheating to include that. I can get some "peppermint humbugs" as well, I suppose. In the BtVS fandom, people compile lists of food from the show to help people planning BtVS parties (yes, that is why Buffy fans are geeks). I wonder if there are any HP fans who do the same thing...

Well, I was going to have it next week because my friend Lisa still hasn't watched CoS (gasp, I know!) and she was going to come over and watch it before watching PoA, and while we're at it why not have a Harry Potter party? They're so much fun...
