snowystingrayWow, it has certainly been a while since the last time I bothered to update. I just haven't had anything interesting to talk about, and even now I don't really have much of anything to say. Basically: Ack, Hurricane, Not again, Do we really deserve this God, etc. etc. I'm just concerned that we might be out of school on Tuesday and then I would have to miss the first A-Team competition of the year and that wouldn't make me very happy at all.
Let's see, things that have happened since the last time I posted... Oh, public humiliation in the form of an English project! I don't really want to delve any further into that, though, as the wounds are still healing. I finished reading some more Pratchett and am currently rereading "Jane Eyre." I'm also still working on "The Scarlet Letter" for school. As far as films, I went and saw "Wimbledon" last weekend. Three cheers for Paul and familiar faces from HH and LotR. I also finally finished watching "Napoleon Dynamite" on Thursday. After the movie I went by the library to rent some films. I got "Hornblower: The Duchess and the Devil," "Hornblower: The Wrong War," and "Lawrence of Arabia." I watched "The Duchess and the Devil" on Thursday and "Lawrence of Arabia" last night. I love David Lean and I want to [go back in time in order to] have his babies. My adoration of Omar Sharif has also intensified. I took those two back this morning because "Lawrence" was only a two day rental, and ended up getting "Becket" and "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" as well. I watched "Becket" earlier this afternoon, and I'll probably watch "Butch Cassidy" tonight. I also have to watch "The Wrong War," but for some reason Hornblower can be checked out for two weeks, whereas most of the films have only a two day rental. Hm.
I am working on an editorial for English (boo) and I still need to take some pictures for photography (not exactly "boo," but I'm just feeling rather lazy right now.
