So, basically, everybody at my school sucks.

Okay, not really.

But they do grate my nerves from time to time...! We were supposed to have an A-Team competition last week, but we didn't because we were out of school for the hurricane. The competition was rescheduled for today. Yesterday I talked to people about going, and a handful of people said they could make it. Today, when we were meeting right before heading to the competition, everybody started backing out and being stupid about it. Yash was complaining that it was too long for him to drive "an hour there and back," when it fact it only takes about twenty minutes to get from LRHS to BHS. When I pointed this out, he got all defensive and asked me just how often I was in the traffic up there. Hm. Let's see. I go to Bartow at least once a week and have been doing so for the last seven years, not to mention the fact that I attended school there for a year and consequently was there EVERY SINGLE DAY. There are just not enough people in Bartow to generate any sort of bad traffic. Then everybody started saying that they wanted time for more practice, because this is this first competition of the year and we "haven't done this before." Of course, everybody who said that has been on the team for the last two years; the only newcomer is our sponsor. To be honest, I think they all chickened out because they don't want to look dumb in front of the IB kids. I voiced my disappointment about not getting to see my friends on the BHS/IB team, and then of course everybody has to raise their eyebrows and go all "you're-friends-with-THOSE-people?" on me. Urgh. So, no A-Team, and I had to stay later after school as well. Boo. And boo again. I am seriously frustrated right now.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to ask for some help... Now that I have this new fangled internet situation, I need an AIM screenname. However, I am terrible at coming up with user names (which is the reason I've stuck with something as uncool as "snowystingray" for the longest time). I would really appreciate any suggestions... Um, nothing offensive, nothing political, nothing I wouldn't want my mother to read, etc. etc. Thank you very, very much in advance.

That really sucks. The people on your team seem really whiny. We actually went to the competition at ASA, but its not like we had much luck anyways. We came in fourth out of five schools. Final score WHHS: 110. People at WHHS apparently don't know that BHS does really well in these things. I told someone that we only play them once this year and they were like "Are they good or something?" Have you found out if there's anyone we know on the BHS team?
As for screennames, I don't know if I could be much help. I've had mine forever as well (my first one), and its not that great. I might have to change it just because. Maybe something with your favorite animal/color/or character??

Well, I definitely know that Yalu is on the A-Team. As for people in our grade... I think she said that Phillip and Chelsea are on it, I'm not sure if there is anybody else that we know.

Boo, I am still completely uninspired for screennames. I really don't have a favourite ANYTHING, so this is kind of difficult...
