I have a sneaking suspicion that AIM hates me. I haven't really had any ideas for great screen names, but even those that I have tried are "already in use." Some of these I can understand: snowystingray still works on my other computer. However. Who knew that "NiceHat," "ChickenOnMyHead," and "OneHotLobster" were all registered screennames? I mean, seriously. I should try something even more random than the aforementioned and see if it is registered or not... Then again, that might not be a good idea because I could get stuck with it as a screenname. Oh well. I'll try it anyway. "KittenPoker" is a registered screenname. I am having a hard time believing this.

What have I done to deserve this, AIM? I think I killed it's child in a previous life or something.

EDIT: Dang it. I tried the "impossibly random screenname" thing again, and now I am stuck with LorneTheBlob. Which I won't even try to explain. Um. Let me know if you want me to add you as a buddy.

I, too, hate it when you try to register the most obscure and random name possible, and it turns out to be taken.

It makes me want to add "ChickenOnMyHead" to my buddy list and IM them when they come online, just to see what sort of person's mind works the same strange way as mine...

Yeah, that's my AIM name now. Well, I might use snowystingray from time to time, but it only works on my super-duper-slow-as-something-really-slow computer, and even then I don't know how much longer it will be up. So, yeah, look for LorneTheBlob.

I'm trying to figure out where you got some of the screen name ideas from... ChickenOnMyHead is from KBDBS and KittenPoker is from Buffy... but NiceHat and OneHotLobster... heheh I definately need to make a different AIM screen name that makes no sense...

NiceHat is a PotC quote, but it actually applies nicely to a lot of my fandoms. Jayne has his bright orange hat, Horatio has a large array of goofy hats, Buffy has her cow/chicken hat, Draco has his furry hat, etc. etc. OneHotLobster is a Horatio Hornblower thing.

You know, having a screen name that makes no sense is actually kind of fun.
