Oct. 22nd, 2004 10:41 amMy computer has been having more problems lately, so getting online has been harder. However, Fridays mean Bethany is a loser and has nothing better to do than go on the computer, so here I am.
Actually, I did go out and do something today. I haven't been to the movies in almost a month, and being a huge "Xena: Warrior Princess" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" dork, I decided to watch "The Grudge."
OMG TED RAIMI DIES NOOO!!!!
I was so sad when Doug said that Alex died. I mean, yeah, pretty much everybody died. But... but... Wah! I also think a better ending would have been for the house (and Karen and Doug) to burn up. What can I say? I like happy endings! Of course, I'm not sure if you can call it happy when everybody is dead (and in some cases incinerated), but whatever.
There were parts of it that were scary and made me jump and were all around freaky. I guess it was an okay movie. At any rate, it was nice to finally go see a movie in theatres after so long; I think the last movie I saw was "Napoleon Dynamite."
Before the movie, I stopped by the library to check out "Beh-Hur" because I didn't finish watching it last weekend. However, they didn't have it so I grabbed "Sharpe's Eagle" instead. I've watched the first half of it, and I'll probably finish the rest tomorrow. I also need to start finding stuff to use on a bulletin board for "The Great Gatsby" for my English class...
