My computer is being wonky (AGAIN!), so my internet visits are probably going to be less regular (AGAIN!). I haven't been doing anything noteworthy lately, though. We have more or less finished our project for "The Great Gatsby"--all we need to do now is present it (tomorrow, I think). We do have a new project for it that my group hasn't exactly started on, but I'm sure we'll get that done before it's due on Monday. Hm... The only other thing I have going on at school is the CPT, which I have to take tomorrow. I'm not sure how well I will do on it, because I am taking it in order to get into calculus, but it has been ages since I've done any math and I don't remember a lot of it. If I don't do well, I can always take it again in the spring, so I guess there isn't a lot of pressure on it.

Homecoming is this weekend, but I don't think I'm going to go. None of my friends are planning on going, nobody has asked me, I don't have a dress, etc. etc. Instead, I'm planning on spending Saturday at Bok Tower (in the morning because I need to take some landscape pictures) and watching "Lawrence of Arabia" (that is, if the library has it, pleasepleasepleeeease!!).

I need to stop playing Free Cell. I keep losing.

Oh! Something that I meant to post about on Monday, but didn't get a chance to because I got booted! Well, for Halloween, I didn't end up going trick-or-treating or going out to any parties or even having a scary movie marathon. I sat at home all by myself and watched "Wuthering Heights," but I actually had a very nice time. I'm one of those people who will be upset by films based on books if they change to much or cut out to much, because to me that defeats the purpose of making the film about the book. However, for all the extreme changes and snip-snips made to the story, I really liked the movie a lot. Three cheers for Laurence Olivier (so much yummier than any candy). I cried through basically the whole thing, and after I finished it I felt that they actually preserved a lot of the feeling of the book.

And apparently the DVD release of "Becket" has been pushed back until after Christmas. ::arrrrghfrustration!:: It is a good thing that my birthday is in February.
