snowystingrayWill my computer ever work properly? Actually, I don't really want to know the answer to that, because it is probably, "No, not ever." My brother was on a camping trip for the better part of this weekend and I had to wait for him to get home this afternoon and fix the computer before I could use it. Even then, I still can't go under my user name because the internet won't work on it. Boo.
I did some pre-Christmas warm-up shopping yesterday. The last time I bought new clothes was probably about three months ago, so I don't feel too guilty about, you know, sucking away all of my parents' hard earned money. Anyway, most of it was on sale, so my mother should be proud of me. This just means that I shouldn't buy anything when my sister comes down for Thanksgiving in a week and a half.
Can you believe they don't make Horatio Hornblower calendars? Sigh. I'm trying to find two new calendars for next year, and I can't seem to decide on what I want. For the last three years, I have had a Harry Potter desk calendar. For my wall calendar, I have had, respectively: Winnie the Pooh, Gone With The Wind (oh! Related GWTW story to follow!), and The Return of the King. I'll probably stick with HP for my desk calendar, but my wall calendar is still up in the air.
Okay. Gone With The Wind story. Well, Cypress Gardens is FINALLY opening back up at the end of the month. But! They are turning the Gone With The Wind exhibit, my personal favourite attraction, into a restaurant. Like that's a fair trade! At least they are keeping the Island in the Sky, or else I would have to boycott.
