After four days of seriously applying myself, I still haven't gotten through the extended edition. I'm working on it, I'm working on it! I probably won't have much time to watch this weekend, though, because I am spending quality time with relatives from afar. Also, I have to do a project on "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."

This project has become something of a problem. When we were first given the assignment, our teacher included a list of suggestions for projects. Apparently, a lot of people decided to do this one easy project (heh, myself included), because a few days later she told us that we couldn't do that project because it was too easy and too many people were doing it. I finally came up with a new idea for a project, but because our teacher has been out for the past couple of days I haven't had a chance to ask her if it was acceptable. The project is due next week, so the majority of the work will have to be done this weekend. I don't want to do my entire project only to find out that it wasn't something I was allowed to do, but I also don't want to put it off to the last minute just to get approval first. Behold! a dilemma is born. I think I'm just going to go ahead and do the project I have in mind and hope that it is okay.

If it weren't for RotK, I would probably be enduring a rather acute attack of the holiday blues. However, lots and lots of LotR coupled with Josh Holloway on "Walker, Texas Ranger" (SO SO SO glad I remembered to watch that, it was incredibly amusing) has helped keep me in semi-bright spirits. Plus, "Best Year Ever" tonight! And at any rate, when Christmas vacation starts I should have a nice break from most sources of annoyance for almost two weeks.
