Hmm. I'm not really sure what to say about "The Phantom of the Opera." I did like it a lot, but I'm very glad I went by myself. I don't really think anybody else I know would have enjoyed it. I completely agree with
cleolinda that "If you like movies that are partly good and partly so bad that they are good, you will love this movie." Parts of it were incredibly corny, but I think those were my favourite parts. The first flashback, with the chandelier and crazy organ music... So much love! Actually, I loved all of the crazy organ music. The Phantom's theme was definitely my favourite part of the score. And, yes, I will openly admit that I loved the Christina/Raoul roof scene. Minnie Driver was fantastic. I always prefer her when she is over-the-top and completely ridiculous (Will & Grace, anyone?).
And I now have to cut this entry short because "Smallville" starts like... now... ::runs off to catch Ian Somerhalder and Michael Rosenbaum in the SAME SHOW at the SAME TIME (sometimes I love TV)::
