My day hasn't been going all that well.

To start off with, it was cold this morning (or cold for me, anyway) and the library opened about twenty minutes late. A cold-from-standing-outside-for-twenty-minutes Bethany is not a happy Bethany, I can tell you that.

In first period I finally did something photography related, and it looks like my film came out all right. I didn't really get a chance to look that closely at it, though, so I'll have to wait until Monday to see what I can work with. However, when I bought more film, I only bought a roll with twelve exposures when I meant to get twenty-four. I was counting on finishing my assignment this weekend, which calls for thirty-six exposures, but I guess it will have to wait until next weekend. My trip to Cypress Gardens tomorrow will be rather pointless if I am counting on taking pictures there. Hopefully it will be fun anyway, and at least this means that I won't have to lug my camera around with me.

In graphic design, we've started on digital photography, which is currently the most boring thing on the face of this planet. I thought we would get to do fun and exciting stuff, but instead our teacher is trying to keep it as close to conventional photography as possible. Because there are only four cameras, we are working in groups. We didn't get to pick our groups, though, so I'm stuck in a group of guys (cooties ewww). Our groups are pretty big, so we barely had time to take pictures and load them all onto the computers before class was over.

English was probably the most upsetting class of all. We took a test today, which was very easy, and after the test our only assignment was to "read quietly." I cracked out the Hornblower, innocently thinking that the rest of the period would go by smoothly. Um. Not! I discovered that my English teacher is secretly evil. What other explanation is there? She made me switch seats with a kid who talks to much. I had to move from my wonderfully comfortable seat surrounded by nice people who I enjoy talking with, all the way to the other side of the room where kids talk during announcements, don't do their journals, and occasionally receive slammers. It's a whole different world over there, and I for one do not like it. I miss my old side of the room ::pouts::

Oh. Wait. I forgot about something even more upsetting than having to move seats. I have to go with my brother to the swim team banquet tonight so I can drive him home afterward (my parents can't do it because they're going to a party). This sucks in ways that I cannot even put into words. I've tried to get out of it, but my efforts are fruitless. Also, I had to miss Ken Jennings on Biography, and I've had to drive the crappy old car to school for the last two days because my dad's car started leaking coolant all over the place.

But, hey, it's Friday! I think that compels me to be in a good mood. Whatever.
