bluesmarty13 to Cypress Gardens today. It was kind of cold, but it was a lot of fun. Today was still one of the preview days (the grand opening isn't until Thursday), so not all of the rides were open and consequently there really weren't a lot of people there. We went on the bumper cars about seven times in a row. We also watch the ice show (Santa doing the robot... Indeed...). Of COURSE we watched the ski show, although I was afraid that they weren't going to have it because it was cold. It was appropriately corny, but I still enjoyed it tremendously. The Cypress Gardens ski show is a guilty pleasure. And so is the Island in the Sky! I love that, although they don't call it Island in the Sky anymore... Oh well. It was still fun.
Now I need to go eat dinner and warm up my fingers and watch Peter O'Toole on TCM tonight.
