(no subject)

Is it just me, or has photobucket been crapping on the image quality of my uploads recently? And not even doing so at the time of the upload, but randomly after a period of time? I first noticed it a while ago while going through one of my old posts and was like, eeeeaaahhhkkk, why does that image look so horrible? I swear it didn't look like that when I put it up! -- but I figured that was just because it was a large-ish file, uploaded before photobucket imposed the 1MB restrictions on free accounts, and it had just gotten messed up when it was automatically resized. I went back to the original file on my computer, exported it smaller, reuploaded, and all was fine with the world. Today, though, I was looking through an old icon post and there it is again! I know they weren't like that when I first uploaded them, and I know it's not because the images are too big. What gives? And the file looks fine when I upload a new copy of it from my comp.

Has anybody else been having this problem? I'm looking through my album settings to see if I inadvertently changed something but I can't figure out what's wrong. It seems like it's only done it to a handful of files, too. ????
