As threatened, I couldn't resist compiling a picspam of all the best Guy/Marian hand!porn moments. Obviously quite image heavy, and it encompasses all of both seasons.

The finale and I have a very... unhealthy relationship. I still go into paroxysms of rage whenever I think about it, and yet I can't get over how gorgeous Marian's final scene is; so at first I didn't have the heart to include anything from it, but then I couldn't stand not putting in that last cap. I am just weirdly enthralled by it.

And, oh goodness! They have blindfolds, they have ropes, they have shackles... I think they almost make it too easy for us sometimes. ;)

Oh, DEAR HOLY GOD. This whole thing was sort of ridiculously hot! Howww do they do the things they do? How? And oh, the cropping on all the caps is just ingenious! adfjklaf;dka.

I think that when he puts the engagement ring on her finger in 1x08, that might just have to be one of my favourite Guy/Marian moments ever. (Never mind the part where they're all my favourite Guy/Marian moments ever. Shh.) I just love how sort of tentatively and reverently he takes her hand, and the way he kind of holds onto her finger for a second after he puts the ring on just kills me. It kinda reminds me of the way he takes her hand in 2x03 -- that same sort of reverent disbelieving hesitancy -- and then I just have to stop and wonder HOW ON EARTH THEY DO THIS. It's weird that something like handholding can be so exquisitely in character when in the hands (pun!) of two such remarkable actors.

And, God, the crop of the neck-kissing cap from 2x08! And the one of the both of them in the tree in 2x09! And the big one of their hands from 2x06, with the trunk in focus -- that is just ridiculously beautiful. And the 1x11 touching! And . . . just . . . guh.

I am so glad you did this, since it is pretty much my new favourite thing EVER. :D

I knowww! I tried to be fair and do a somewhat equal spread for each moment, but that one really merited its own block. And, also, Guy total trumps Robin in terms of ring choice.

Is it wrong for me to be in love with something from my own picspam? OH WELL I AM. Everything from 2.08 just makes me want to die with how perfect it is, and I'm pretty sure I've been staring at that section all afternoon... Most ridiculously hot kiss I've ever had the pleasure of ogling and replaying a million times frame by frame, OMG. And it's all about the hands! The way Marian cradles his face seriously ranks right at the top of, oh, EVERYTHING EVER.

And the one of the both of them in the tree in 2x09!

Further proof that I am in fact a horrible person: I get such a perverse amount of glee at Marian removing Robin's ring, so of course it had to be included.

GAaaah! THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I love you for doing this. Seriously. It's just gorgeous! I was going to do one, and after the finale I had a hard time sort of...dealing with GUy/Marian, and it totally slipped my mind. But this is just...beautiful. It's odd that every single facet of their performances is just always pitch perfect. *sighs*

Urrrrgh, same here. My brain was still going through some weird adjustment period, but dollsome's gropetastic spam from 2.10 reminded me of our goal to do a full catalogue of all the Guy/Marian touching... And, well, what better time to start than the beginning of semester when I'm trying desperately to focus on school without distractions and get back into the swing of things and not fall behind after only one week of class? *headdesk* I have have some serious prioritizing problems -- the chief being that I honestly do feel like I've properly structured my schedule when I put Guy/Marian ahead of my academic future.

It's odd that every single facet of their performances is just always pitch perfect.

After going through all of these caps and keeping an eye out for significant hand interactions... just, goodness, yes. I could not agree more with this! They put so much into every level of their scenes together, that I honestly don't think we can be blamed for letting them take over our brains. And, haha, now I have the 1.13 commentary playing in my head, where Marian clenches her hands during her meeting with Robin. "Oh, look at that!" "Hand acting!" Gosh, I love them too too terribly much for my own good.
