OH. MY. GODDDDDD.

...Next week is going to destroy my life. I just know it. House! Wilson! Amber! I can't decide which of you I love the most but I know there is no happy ending capable of encompassing you all and ohhhhh now I feel almost guilty for needing Amber to be back on the show if she's just going to die. :( Please please please don't die.

(Of course, emotional distress aside, WOW that was a good episode. Now that we're at the finale, I have to say that season four of House has been one of the best years of any television show, certainly my favourite year of this one. Bravo! But stop messing with the bitch already!)

Considering all the shit that went on with the writer's strike and how long we had to wait for new eps, and the amount of eps we had... this was an EXCELLENT season. And it makes me believe that next season will be EPIC INDEED.

BUT THIS EP WAS EPIC TOO.

Oh, I know! I'm just so beyond proud of everybody for how perfectly they pulled it all together. I mean, even from last season's finale, I knew that this would be a make-or-break year, either a grand shark jumping disaster or some of the ballsiest television for a procedural. So, congrats on the former, House & crew. :) (And, yes, I'm doing the happy hurrahs this week, before I dissolve into a puddle of emotionally drained goo next week and hurl things at my television in despair. :P)

Bahaha, same to you! I actually saw the Wilson parody before watching the original Kelly video, so I kind of always have that image in my head anyway and it never fails to bring an extra level of lulz. XD

And though I don't think this is the best season, I'll at least say it's much better than the third. P: Although, that season did bring us Tritter. <3

Oh, definitely. It's like they're compensating for downplaying the House/Cam angle... I know everybody is already freaking about the House/Amber clip in the promo, but durrr there's no way that's REAL (OR AT LEAST IT BETTER NOT BE!) and the more sexy Amber scenes the better so I can't say that I mind too much.

SO. TRUE. POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING.

Well, it's kind of weird, because almost all of my favourite episodes are still in other seasons (Babies and Bathwater; Three Stories; HOUSE VS. GOD OH GOSH NOTHING WILL EVER BE BETTER), but I think this has just been the most consistently good season so far. It's kind of like last season's super perfect arc of Act Your Age/House Training/Family/Resignation, only stretched out into an entire season of awesome. Looking back, I really don't think there was a single episode I didn't like. Really, though, I think I'm just most impressed that it managed to be such a fresh season, the fourth year into such a formulaic show. They did the thing that was right to do but that sadly isn't always done enough, which is to just step back and say, hey, maybe it's okay to change and try some new stuff and take a few risks. And I think it really really paid off. :D
