This is probably the only time you will ever hear me say this, so treasure the moment while you can: BUT OH GOD I AM SO FREAKING SICK OF BEING ON MY COMPUTER. I've spent pretty much all day reinstalling/transferring everything back onto it... uuuuuggghhhhh so boring, suuuuuuuch a paaaaaaaain, and I'm stiiiiill not dooooooone but I give up for now. *collapses* At least my computer isn't about to die every time I go on the internet, though? So I guess that's an improvement.

Do you ever get the idea that people on the internet are reading your mind? Like, you come up with a clever idea only to realize that somebody else out there has already come up with the exact same thing? Because, dude, I literally just expounded to my sister on the revelation comparing the Trek and Stargate franchises and then, bam! Somebody else has already cleverly written it up. INTERNET YOU ARE TOO FAST FOR ME.

Okay I still meant to post about Psych, but, seriously. So. Sick. Of this goddamn computer. BYE FOR NOW. *flees to watch Middleman*

Ugh, I feel your pain. :( In my computer's defense, this is the first time I've had to do it in the, errr, way too long amount of time that I've had it (probably at least five years, now?) so it's really probably about time to put it to farm in the greener pastures of the big Best Buy store in the sky... I did briefly consider getting a new computer, but my original goal was to make this one last through the end of undergrad so EIGHT MORE MONTHS LET'S DO IT. Or maybe Santa will bring me one early, we'll see. I don't know if I'd get a mac or not... One of my friends has an iMac and it's really nice, but at the same time I get annoyed with the MACS CAN NEVER BREAK LIKE PCS CAN advertisements (okay, even though they did spawn mac_hearts_pc XD). My little brother has a macbook pro for school and it died over the summer (less than a year old), so he sent it in to get it basically gutted and have everything replaced -- and then it broke again last week! Just in time for his first week of school, even, so major sucky timing (and he's a computer science major, so it's kind of... necessary). But, I don't know, I'm not especially set in my computer preferences. Basically, does it a) go online and b) have FreeCell (and c) actually work :P)? Okay, then I'm happy.
