Sep. 8th, 2002 08:20 pmI just got back from open house. The words boring, pointless, and vapid do not even begin to cover this experience, so we'll just leave it at that.
School has still been ugh-wrothy, but it is falling into a pattern of ugh-ness that makes it somewhat bearable. The only variation in my day is lunch...and I don't know if that should be counted as a good thing.
See, we always go and eat lunch in one of the science classrooms, because the teacher is really nice and always leaves her class open so we don't have to go eat outside. There are some other people who eat in there, too, and they are quite the epitome of hicks in central Florida. When they heard that he called them a fag, they chased (no actual beatage, just lots of intimidation) around Brian for a while...
And. Ah. Brian. That's another topic all together. He is our cute little blonde buddy...unfortunately, many *many* people find him cute, too. So they take to harrassing them. Poor Brian. He is terribly cute; in more of a cutesy way, though, then a *cute* way. I'll have to scan a picture some time...
