Somehow I have been neglecting all of my airing shows in favor of posting about canceled Medieval nonsense and on-a-fifty-million-month-hiatus shows with smoke monsters. Things I Have Been Meaning to Post About (plus spoiler space in case you are caught up on some but not on others)...

I have been... hm, I guess I've been good with this season so far? But I also feel like I'm almost at a point with the show where I secretly hope it gets canceled soon so I can stop following it. WHAT A HORRIBLE THOUGHT FOR ME TO HAVE. But there it is. I guess that is at least a point in the show's favor, though; it's not yet bad enough for me to stop watching it on its own merits, but I feel like a lot of it has been played out and I feel like the longer it is on the air the longer I have to watch these characters be jerked around for dramatic purposes when really I just hope that they've all grown to a point in there lives where they can be at least somewhat happy and well-adjusted.

Case in point -- CHASE AND CAM. I LOVE THEM. PLEASE DON'T SCREW IT UP. ARRRRGHHHH. That said, not gonna lie, I've totally been loving the extra screentime they've been getting. I honestly surprised myself with how much I enjoyed having the latest episode as a back-to-basics old school duckling procedural. Still, though, NEEDS MOAR TAUB.

Also, this is fantastic. I'm still not even clear on who exactly Greg Yaitanes is (also, ha, fail on my part -- apparently he's worked some on Lost? And I never noticed!), but he's swiftly becoming my new favorite person.

After my meh-ish feelings on 2.01, I have been enjoying the everloving heck out of every single minute of this series. I do have a few quibbles, of course:
-NEEDS LESS LOVE TRIANGLE (well. I'll qualify that statement by saying that I love Gwen AND Arthur AND Lancelot and I love all of their epic romantic longing, but I hate feeling like crap for all of them)

But, yes, on the whole I have really really really loved the past few episodes. So much tension going on in 2.03! I think my mantra for that episode was just "TELLHERTELLHERTELLHERTELLHERRRRR" because, seriously, Merlin, JUST TELL HER ALREADY. Should I be proud of him that he can finally keep a secret? Possibly. But I am also digging the Merlin/Morgana dynamic and I would love it if they had a dark dangerous secret-keeping relationship together. I'm guessing that it has to happen sooner or later but, uh, sooner rather than later, please? Loved seeing Mordred again as well, creepifying as always.

AND THEN 2.04. GOOD GRAVY I KNOW I JUST FANGIRLED OVER HOW EPIC AND ROMANTIC GWEN/ARTHUR WERE BUT BUT BUT BUT LANCELOTTTTT HOLY FRIG IS THAT MAN ATTRACTIVE. I am a sucker for bickery romances, which any Arthur relationship has in spades, but there is something to be said about good old fashioned gorgeous-guy-meets-gorgeous-girl-and-they-are-100%-gorgeous-together and just flat-out loving and heroic and 'til death and SERIOUSLY WHAT I CAN'T EVEN.

...Fucking love triangles. Sigh. :/

Okay, I don't really have much to say about NCIS except that I crush on Ziva so harrrrd, omfg, and on Timmy to a lesser extent, and mostly I've been enjoying this new episodes, just in the usual way where I don't pay attention to the plots.

And, okay, apparently it is impossible for me to go very long without mentioning Robin Hood. But! For US viewers! "Do You Love Me" is airing this Saturday on BBCA, and I am urging you all to watch it. Could you say no to this face? Or more importantly, would you want to?

Oh, and I also meant to say that I continue to catch up with The Prisoner. I had kind of planned to finish it before the remake began airing, but I'm not quite sure if I'll make that deadline. The last episode I watched was "The Schizoid Man" and owwwwww my brain owwww. But in a good way.

I actually thought Santiago was more attractive in Heroes than as Lancelot, which is a bit wrong considering that he was a heroin addict in Heroes. But it's nice to see him back on the tellybox.

I never managed to get into Heroes (SHOCKING, I KNOW!! There is in fact a television show left that I do not watch. I almost don't believe it myself) so for me it's kind of like a full-on concentrated blast of OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO LOVELY AND CORNY BUT IN A SWEEPING HEROIC WAY AND SERIOUSLY CAN WE JUST AGREE TO BE LIFE PARTNERS FROM THIS MOMENT FORWARD? ...But then that's sort of how I feel about everybody on the show, which is why when ships become canon things get too complicated, yarrrgh! Sigh.
