::sigh:: Buffy was very good in many ways, but it still had many disappointments. The first and foremost being, of course, that instead of doing an evil-as-hell-and-wants-to-kill-people-to-show-it!Spike, they did a feel-sorry-for-our-poor-Spikey-because-he's-really-good-at-heart!Spike. And, obviously, I am much more partial to pre-chip, pre-soul, pre-crush Spike. I knew that it wasn't going to happen, but dear God! I very very very much wanted to see it. Yes, well, we still have most of the season before us, so... ::crosses fingers::
