Well, I've posted about just about everything lately except for me. So, a nice little recap of the last week, if anybody cares. I know it's long, but if you read it all you get a cookie, I promise!

Wednesday-
We finally got out of school! Hell yeah! It didn't feel like the last day of school, though, because we were testing all day. And nobody got all teary, because everybody's in summer school now anyway. I felt really cheap, though, because random people that I hadn't talked to for the whole year were suddenly coming up to me and telling me how much they were going to miss me. I appreciated the sentiment, but my inner jerk was screaming, "LIAR! You haven't talk to me for nine months, and *now* you going to miss me?" Which just goes to show why they probably haven't talked to me for the entire school year, but anyway... I also went to the mall to buy some shoes, but all I bought was a copy of "The Count of Monte Cristo" (which I still need to return, because I accidentally bought an abridged version) and a Rufus Wainwright CD.

Thursday-
We left for Virginia. Lots and lots and lots of time in the car.

Friday-
Even more fun times in the car. We drove past the hotel we were going to stay at, a beautiful resort sprawling over the Virginia countryside that unfortunately went bankrupt last month. Then we arrived at the hotel we were staying at, a trashy motel in mid-renovation state across the street from the Dollar General and a taxonomy place. I saw my cousin for the first time in about four years, and went out to dinner with her and her friends. Because I don't smoke, am under the age of twenty-five, and am not an artsy person by any stretch of the imagination, I did feel very much like an outsider.

Saturday-
My cousin's wedding. Once again, I knew almost nobody there, so it was kind of awkward. I had fun bonding with my other cousin's husband, though, who is very cool, and who I feel bad about never having really talked to before, even though they've been married for about five years now. I also met my third and final cousin's fiancee, who is really sweet, too. I really didn't eat anything because they were serving barbecue, and I was wearing white and being the klutz that I am knew I would spill something on myself, so by the end of the night I got really hungry and ate the rest of my bag of Oreos, so I couldn't go to sleep and stayed up all night watching "Punk'd". Earlier I had been watching a thing on "American Idol", which I'd heard everybody talk about but never really bothered to watch. I really didn't want to watch the show, but I did want to know who won (I was rooting for Clay, because in his own little way he is incredibly adorable). I was going crazy because I couldn't find anybody who watched the show and could tell me who had won, so I was channel surfing like crazy to find the results. I did catch them on VH1 eventually, and was kind of disappointed to see that Clay didn't win. And then suddenly I felt really stupid to have cared so much. I guess it was the Oreos.

Sunday-
We left Virginia. And drove some more. And stayed in Savannah.

Monday-
We walked around Savannah for a while. I didn't buy anything except for some food (Ben and Jerry's, yum). We then proceeded to drive even more, and I was upset to find that, three hours north of Orlando, O-Rock comes in ten times better than it does here in Winter Haven, about an hour south of Orlando. So I made my mom listen to threesomes for about four hours.

Tuesday-
I sat around the house. I wanted to go to the mall to return my book, but my mom refused to take me.

Wednesday-
I got all freaked out because I thought that today was Thursday, and my watch said Thursday, and I had already turned my calendar to Thursday. So I had to change my calendar back, and if any of you guys have the CoS calendar, the day-to-day one, you know how completely adorable today's is. I still feel guilty about my harry!lust, but he's just so darn cute that I can't help myself.

Thanks for reading this, and I hope you haven't been too bored. I really appreciate you taking the time to learn about my disturbingly uneventful life, and perhaps you now understand why I chose to post about other meaningless things instead ::passes out cookies::
