Okay, I'm on a question kick lately, but! Movies! Apparently my favourite theatre ::hugs:: is now playing "Bend It Like Beckham" and I'm trying to decide whether I want to see it or not. I've heard from just about everybody that it's a really great movie, but them I'm not sure if it's the sort of film I would enjoy... Well, if I do go and watch it, I'm going to drag srcastikangel along with me and I don't think she's going to be home until Sunday or Monday, so I have until then to decide. I did also kind of want to watch "Seabiscuit" as well (and no, not just for the Danny Strong cameo) and Joseph said he wanted to see it, too. And I still haven't called the Mugs and Movies yet today so I don't know what's playing this week. Hm. So many movies to choose from... Anyway, if any of you guys have seen either "Bend It Like Beckham" or "Seabiscuit" I would be most grateful for your opinion on the film.

Oh, and I finally beat my TTT game today (well, not the special missions, but I'll pretend that they don't count so I can feel good about myself). Sheesh. That took entirely too long; I bought the game back in January, I think. I suppose the fact that I'm usually not really that big on video games coupled with my annoyance at constantly dying kind of hampered my enthusiasm...

I've seen Bend It Like Beckham about 10 times on television, and in the theatres, and, well, it was all right. I think you should give it a try though, because while I didn't think it was all that great my friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles all thought it was really a wonderful movie. So I suppose I would recommend it to you, because it is actually quite good. Yarr.

Okay... hm... Well, I am going to a party this afternoon, and I'm going to Orlando tomorrow, and I have some school stuff to take care of on Monday, so I think I'll probably go on Tuesday, which works out nicely for a last-movie-watched-in-theatres-before-I-go-back-to-school trip.

It definitely does. :D. One thing I liked about Bend it Like Beckham though, was that at the end Kiera Knightley didn't get the man. Which is brilliant, because for some reason I really don't like her.

She just seems a little...what's the word I'm looking for? Not somebody who is necessarily a bad person, just not the sort of person I would want to hang out with. And it is always fun with the girl doesn't get the guy ::evel cackle::
