1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?
The last time I left the state was this summer to go to Virginia for my cousin's wedding. The last time I left the country? Sheesh, that was years ago... Probably my trip to France.
2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?
Getting lost in Mexico and getting directions from drunk guys in pubs and buying candy from kids on the side of the road. Yeah. That was pretty weird...
3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?
I have always always always wanted to go to the UK, so that would be my destination of choice.
4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?
I get motion sick like nothing else. So, really, none of the above. Though if I had to choose I'd say car. Because big squishy comfortable seats and unlimited radio options are more fun than little cramped seats when you're stuck watching a crappy movie.
5. What's the next place on your list to visit?
The next place I want to visit that I think I might actually visit is California next summer (haven't been there in about the last six years). However, I think this Christmas I'm going to be dragged up to Kitty Hawk for the centennial of flight celebration ::grumbles:: I want my RotK!

Date: 2003-08-08 03:12 pm (UTC)Ha, are you kidding? I LOVE California with a burning passion. It's so spiffy. If I had my druthers that's where I'd be right now. Then again, I suppose if I was living in California I would probably be complaining about it... Anyway, it holds happy childhood memories for me. I was born and raised (erm, not really, only for like three years) in the sweltering heart of the good ol' Mojave, and my grandmother lives in Irvine, and L.A. has such scrumtious shopping possibilities that I could explode. The last time I went to California was the year before I moved here, though, which makes it about six years ago. And then I really didn't go much of anywhere... I think we stayed a few nights in Twenty-nine Palms and maybe in San Bernadino, but not much besides. I would very much love to go back again.
